PLEASE CALL THE CLINIC TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT OR FOR SAME DAY BOOKING.  Be aware that the most confidential way to book appointments is by calling our clinic directly.  Please book online only if you are between 6 and 12 weeks' gestation (see Gestational Calculator if you are not sure).  After 12 weeks gestation, please call our clinic for an appointment.

Please come to the clinic 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. The appointment will be in order to meet the doctor and determine if a safe, effective abortion can be completed the same day.  Allow at least 3-4 hours for your service.

You must have an empty stomach on the day of the appointment (ex. water is allowed... we are so sorry!).  If you are planning to have a Medical Abortion, please bring in a snack to take just before your first pill in clinic.

It can be helpful to take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 1000 mg and Ibuprofen (Advil) 600-800 mg 1 hour prior to your appointment.

Please do not drive yourself to an appointment (the medications we give you for your comfort impair driving).

Bring your valid OHIP card with you.

No tests are needed but it is very helpful if you have a blood test (called a quantitative BHCG) and an ultrasound prior to your booking.  You do not need to delay your appointment for these.

If you decide to cancel or are going to arrive late for your appointment, please give us a call.

If you want a IUD inserted the same day, please bring it or call our clinic for a prescription.
